Many of our customers come to us because their marble, limestone, travertine, slate, sandstone and granite tiled floors have being laid incorrectly by inexperienced tilers. The end result being an uneven surface, which is also known as ‘lippage’. These floors are very hard and costly to be removed and relayed.
The only and cost effective option is to remove the lippage from your stone floor is to grind it, with the use of our specialist mechanical grinding machines and heavy duty diamond attachments.
Once this is achieved, the tile then goes through a series of different grade diamonds and resins to achieve the desired floor finish. We can also undertake floor preparation work for new installs.
By grinding down the top surface of your stone floor, we:
- Remove scratches and imperfections
- Level uneven surfaces
- And bring out a new shine on top
- Easy maintenance
- Grout lines level with tile so dirt no longer gets trapped
We can also offer removal of scratches to marble, limestone, travertine, and granite which develop high foot traffic in both domestic and commercial situations. Using mechanical grinding there are no limitations to type of stone, so if you have issues with your sandstone or slate floor, we can help you as well.
Polished Concrete is becoming more popular of late. Using the mechanical grinding method we can polish your concrete to your desired finish. Polished concrete is popular in warehouses, showrooms, domestic and commercial dwellings.
